Chapter 8 -Kame House Everyone is eating lunch now. Goku is seen eating an insane amount of food. Bugs, on the other hand, is eating a plate of carrots. Roshi looks at Bugs' plate. Roshi: Um, Bugs? Bugs looks at Roshi. Bugs: Yeah? Roshi: Where did you get those carrots? I don't have any carrots here... Bugs looks down at his plate of carrots, then back at Roshi, and begins to grin. Bugs: I don't know! Nyehnyehnyeh! Roshi: What?? How could you not know?? Bugs shrugs his shoulders and murmurs something that sounded like "I unno". Roshi, in a suspicious voice: Very odd... Goku finishes his 32nd plate of food. Goku: Oh boy, that was delicious! Bulma looks at Goku with a look of disgust. Bulma: How can you eat that much...? Goku: Well that was great! But I really should get going! Chi-Chi must be worried sick about Gohan! Goku stands up, with Bugs and Gohan following suit. Roshi: Well, it was great seeing you again! You need to come visit more! And you too, Gohan! Gohan: You too, Mister Roshi. Roshi:Mister Roshi.... that's a new one... Krillin gets up and goes to give Goku a hug. Krillin: Yeah, you had better not just forget about us! Goku: Haha, don't worry guys, I will! I promise! Krillin turns to Gohan, who is sitting on Goku's shoulder. Krillin: And it was good to meet you, Gohan. Gohan: You too, Krillin. Bulma: Bye Goku! Do come again! Goku: I will! Promise! Goku, Bugs and Gohan wave as they exit. Bugs turns to Goku as they all leave. Bugs: Well, it was nice meeting you, Goku. But I really should get going, I have business to attend to. Goku: Oh, ok! What is it, if you mind me asking?? Bugs: Sorry, I can't tell, its classified. But don't worry, I'll keep close tabs with you. Goku: Oh.... ok! Can I get your address so I can visit sometime?? Bugs: Sorry, I can't tell you that either. Goku: Hmm, mystery man huh? Bugs: Make that mystery rabbit. Bugs looks at Gohan. Bugs: And Gohan, it was nice seeing you too. Gohan: .... Bugs: Shy, huh? Bugs disappears. Gohan turns to Goku. Gohan: Daddy, that bunny is weird... Bugs appears again. Bugs: I heard that. Bugs disappears. Gohan looks worried. Goku begins to laugh. Goku: Hey now Gohan, its ok! He won't do a thing to you! He's nice, really! Gohan nods to Goku. Gohan: Yes, daddy... Goku: Actually, I don't know about him either... |

Chapter 9 -Goku's house "You got home at a good time, Goku! Dinner just finished!" Chi-Chi is seen in the kitchen, making a big meal, with Goku walking in holding Gohan. "And how was my little Gohan?" Goku flashed back to his encounter with his extraterrestrial brother and Piccolo. He looked at Gohan sternly, reminding him what to say, as he knew Chi-Chi couldn't find out the boy was put in harm's way. Gohan puts on a fake smile and says, "It was fun, me and daddy went to see Master Roshi, and I met a couple of Goku's old friends! Then we went for a swim in the water around the island!" Chi-Chi looked at Goku with a frustrated face and said, Goku..... that was safe, wasn't it?" Goku grinned and said, "Of course! We were watching closely over him! He was in good hands, really!" Chi-Chi smiled gently and said, "Of course he was, maybe I worry too much." Goku sat down at the table, Gohan doing the same. Chi-Chi brought the food to the table, and started to prepare it. "Goku, you'll never learn a thing about manners, will you?" "Manners...?" Goku said. Chi-Chi shook her head as she sat down, and they began to eat. -Kame house "Boy, I wonder who that guy was." Master Roshi was seen deep in thought on his couch. Krillin waked up to him and asked, "Hey, what's up, Roshi?", to which he responded, "Oh, just thinking about that rabbit man." Krillin says "He was an odd one. And he beat someone who scared Goku? I wonder about him..." Krillin then sat down and turned the T.V. on. He flicked through the channels, complaining about nothing good being on. He then went outside to keep up with his training. "I might never become as strong as Goku, but I still want to be some help in case another threat shows up..." Little did Krillin know, he was right to worry about someone coming... Peace lays upon the earth. Goku was taking care of his kid, along with Chi-Chi. He does some light training in the meantime to make moderate strength increase. Krillin trains heavily, in order to assure that he can be useful later on. Piccolo goes back to his training regiment, perfecting his Special Beam Cannon, which he does successfully, greatly increasing the speed it becomes fully charged in. Yamcha chose to only do martial arts enough keep himself ready for anything to happen. Tien left Chaozu to live with Master Roshi while he does his own special training. One year goes by. Chapter 10 -Kame House, one year later The T.V. is on, and Master Roshi is seen watching the morning exercise program on some channel, when suddenly it skips over to what appears to be a broadcast of some sort. "Hmm?" The announcer starts talking. "Good morning, everyone! We have an unusual find in East City! Two orb-shaped chunks of metal just crashed landed from the sky!" The camera switches over to the crash site, where the two metallic orbs lay. Master Roshi said, "What?! What could those be?! Krillin!" Krillin rushes in and says "What's wrong?" Master Roshi points to the T.V., still showing the orbs. An announcer starts talking. "As you can see, these things are clearly not asteroids! Most odd, most odd indeed!" But suddenly, the orbs appear to open up, shocking not only Master Roshi and Krillin, but everyone in the world who witnessed this. "What the hell is that about?", Krillin asked. The announcer looks upon in horror as two men in odd suits appear from the orbs, which appear to have been ships. The announcer, with a shaking voice, asks, "Wh-who are you?" One of the men looks at the announcer, points two fngers in the air, and the broadcast is suddenly ended. Master Roshi and Krillin look at each other, fright on their faces. "What was that about?!", they both ask. -The crash site Nappa laughs and says, "Just like that, and no trace of anything anymore!" Vegeta chuckles and says, "A great way to announce our arrival!" -Where Bugs Bunny lives "Hey, look what just happened on that planet called earth!" Bugs looks at the painting leading to Goku's version of Earth. It shows the two pods that crashed, and what appears to be the result of a massive explosion. He stares for a second, and says, "I'll be back in a few." He jumps in it. -The Crash site The two Saiyans use their scouters to find any significant powers. They find several not too far away, all within the 300-600 range. They decided to check out the lowest, which belonged to Tien, who was training alone. They take off. -Goku's house "Nimbus!" Goku is outside, tying his boots and belt. Chi-Chi comes out and says, "Oh Goku, please be careful!" Goku smiles and says, "I will!" The nimbus appears and flies down to ground level, right by Goku. He hops on it, and takes off. -Mountaintop Tien is seen, practicing his Tri-Beam technique. Suddenly, two figures are seen headed his direction. Tien senses who it is. "Chaozu? And is that Goku with him?" They come into view, it was Chaozu and Krillin. "Krillin? He's really increased his power..." They land in front of him. He asks, "What's going on? Why are you here?" They both have worried looks on their faces. Krillin speaks. "There were two orbs reported in East City. Next thing we know, they open up, and two men climb out of them. One man looks at the reporter, raises his hand, and the broadcast ended!" Tien gasped and said, "What could that mean?" He was just about to find out... Hey guys, I'm gonna start this back up soon! Sorry for everyone who enjoyed reading this, I just was stuck on how to continue it. But I have it figured out, so keep your eyes peeled. Chapter 11 -The sky Tien and the others are standing by, when they sense two powers approaching. Huge powers. They suddenly look scared. Krillin says "C-could it be...?" and two figures start to appear. Goku is speeding on his nimbus, his face showing great concern. "I hope nobody I know was in that blast..." He is nearing in on the crash site, when he stops dead in his tracks, a frightened look on his face. "Wh-what IS that? Two enormous powers nearby, and they dont feel friendly... I've got a bad feeling about this..." he says, as he takes off in a different direction. The two figures come into view, and Krillin and Chaozu recognize them almost immediately. They both say "It's them..." with shaking voices. The two alien warriors approach and land. All is quiet for a few seconds, before Vegeta opens his mouth. "Well well well... what do we have here?" he says in a sarcastic tone. Goku notices the two Saiyans landing, then he senses the powers of the other three. "Oh no! I think I sense Krillin! This isn't good! Faster, Nimbus!", The cloud increases the flight speed significantly. Vegeta looks at Chaozu, presses a button on his scouter, and some characters flash on the screen. "325..." He looks at Krillin, more characters flashing. "...384..." Then he looks at Tien. "...and 403. Hah! What jokes! They couldn't possibly have been the ones to beat Raditz!" Krillin utters in a questioning tone, "Did he say Raditz?". Vegeta boasts "What was that? Speak up now!", a smirk on his face. Both Vegeta and Nappa's scouters flash, and they turn around. Nappa bellows "Somebody's headed this way? A power level of 382..." and a figure comes into view. As it approaches, Tien, Krillin, and Chaozu all shout "Goku!" with excitement on their faces. Goku approaches and lands, the Nimbus flying away. Vegeta and Nappa both look at him with amused faces. Vegeta laughs and says "Well, If it isn't Raditz's little brother..." Goku looks at Krillin. "My, you've gotten a lot stronger... and I'm glad you aren't hurt or anything." Krillin smiles and says "Yeah, nothing's happened yet." Goku looks at Tien and Chaozu, nodding his head and smiling as a greeting. He then turns around to face Nappa and Vegeta. "As for you two... what are you doing here?" Vegeta laughs and says "Funny for you to ask, I'm wondering the same thing myself. Bardock's son... who would've thought he would turn out so weak?" Vegeta and Nappa both laugh heartily. Goku appears to take a fighting pose. Vegeta turns his nose, then says "As if. I don't fight people with your power. I slaughter them. But this does bring an interesting option for me. I could take you, train you and have you get a decent amount of strength, if you're interested. You would roam the galaxy freely, doing whatever you have the power to do. It's every warrior's dream, right?" Goku looks sternly at Vegeta and says "As if! Why would you even give me the option anyway?" Vegeta snickers and says "Don't get me wrong, I could care less about you as a person. It's just that you're one of the last of our kind, so I have a fraction of an ounce of respect for you as a warrior. But if you say no...", Vegeta picks up a rock and shatters it easily, "...that's your head." Goku gasps, but quickly regains his composure. Vegeta and Nappa both laugh heartily again, angering Goku. But suddenly... "Nyehhhhhhhhhhhh........" Nappa and Vegeta quickly turned around to see Bugs standing behind them. "And who might you be?" The proud Saiyan prince checked his scouter for a power level, but no reading at all showed up, which confused him. "Is this thing on?" he asked, taking it off and checking it. It was on and working fine, as it read his and Nappa's as normal. He checked Bugs again for a reading, to no avail. "Alright, you ugly little rat, who are you?" Nappa suddenly remembered Raditz saying something about not sensing the power of one of the guys that fought him, and told Vegeta. Vegeta for a second showed a bit of worry, but it faded quickly. "Well well well, so you may have some power, eh? But don't think for even a second that killing that pathetic Raditz means much to us! He was trash, just like you! But the killing of one of my kind, one of the last nevertheless, won't go under my nose, so you'll have to suffer the consequence. Nappa...?" "Right!" Nappa charged at Bugs. |
